Mission

Waaberi Broadcasting Services (Radio Waaberi) is a California-registered 501 (C) (3) Corporation. It is a nonprofit and non-governmental educational organization set up for the following with the ultimate goal of empowering the Somali speaking people.

To advocate free press and disseminate objective news
To promote and monitor human rights, democratic values, constitutional liberties, the benefits of good governance and free market economy
To raise awareness about the perils and the consequences of terrorism and the financing of terrorism
To elevate awareness, educate, combat, and campaign for the prevention of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
To highlight the cost of corruption
To advocate the right to inform, the right to dissent and independent media
To encourage women, youth and the disenfranchised to participate politics
